What people say about (Butternut Creek Golf Complex)

Goat Talk

First time coming here we arrived at 8:10 am on a Sunday . No one was here to get us a cart but it says they open at 8 am . We got a bucket of balls from the guy cutting the grass a large bucket that was full of dirty golf balls …. We wait until 8:40 to get a cart when someone arrives . The course is solid but needs a good amount of maintenance, Decent course though . 3 out of 5 stars .

Great golf Course. Great service. Best Driving range in Syracuse! Awesome non profit golf course which helps grow the game of golf. While giving back to community. Also the golf simulator is world class and the same use by alot of the best players in the world. Par -3.... 9 hole course. Definitely would recommend to any golfer of any age or skill set!

EDIT: Butternut driving range isn't the same as it used to be. $11 for a small bucket that barely gives you 30 balls is a rip off. You can't buy a large bucket anymore because the owner doesn't want people to take too many divots on the grass range (Which is the entire point of a grass range). Do yourself a favor and go to a range anywhere else but Butternut Creek Best grass tee driving range in the area. A little on the pricey side ($15 for a large bucket and grass tee access). More yardage markers/targets would be nice on the left side where the grass tees are since it is set 10-20 yards back of the hitting mat area.
