I worked with Rob on my full bag fitting, as it had been several years since my fitting, and I am definitely a different player than I was then. My best advice is that if you don't think you can handle 200+ swings in a 2.5 hour session, then definitely break it up. I can't say enough good things about Rob's approach and guidance. He definitely didn't try to steer me in any direction as far as club manufacturer, and the entire session was focused on data, which was exactly what I wanted. After watching me hit my existing clubs for a while, he made recommendations based on club shape and my own feedback as far as preferences and feel. I think I went through 4 shaft variations first, then I hit at least 10 different iron heads with the dialed in shaft before we landed on a couple of top picks. From there it was on me to make the selection. Being a full bag fitting, I also wanted to look at driver, woods and utilities. After watching me hit for a while, and seeing my driver, woods and utilities were all new within the last year, Rob started swapping out shafts until the spin, launch and carry started to look good. No up-sale here, just working with what I already had and making it better. Overall, this was a highly satisfactory experience, and I absolutely recommend GolfMD for anyone looking to dial in their equipment. I'll be coming back for future tweaks.
