Great place to hang out during the summer time! Also has a great outdoor park, with a play area for the kids,and outdoor pavilion that can be rented. Overall a good place to be. I really appreciate the cold hardy tropical palm trees, and other plants around outside of pool .
Great location but it seriously needs an upgrade. The City of Jacksonville should invest in a new Aquatic Center.
We have been using the Jacksonville Community Center for several things for years. I joined the gym there several years back and was comfortable working out there. My grandson has played baseball for the last three years through the community center, and we’ve had great experiences. We have booked several events using the rooms within the facility and have always been very happy with pricing, availability, and space. Also, we have used the pool for private events, such as birthday parties and team sports events. My son attended their summer camp last year and had a good time as well. The staff has always been friendly and helpful with all our needs!
