What people say about (Cross Creek Golf Course)

Tanner Rowe

Booked online for a rate of $35 per person. When arrived at the course they charged us $47 per person . Charged us $141 after the website clearly stated that $105 was due at the course as seen in the picture below. Didn’t even follow the rates that were booked on their website. Also the course was in terrible shape with punched greens and a horrible putting surface as seen in the pictures below. Gave the staff multiple chances to honor the rate that was given on their website to which they responded “take that up with the mayor of Cullman, you can call him.” Won’t be back to play this very overpriced and poor customer service course

Course is in the best shape I’ve seen it in a long time. Only complaint is that there is 0 course management. Be prepared for groups of 6+ playing together and people deciding to play another 9 after 18 and just roll right up to #1. After 5:30 it’s an absolute free for all

Everything about the course was fine until the manager came up to us and said we were slow and keeping golfers waiting. what he didn't pay attention to was the fact that our Tee time was 3:56 and we were waiting on a party of 5 to move to the next hole, which made us wait for about 10 minutes. The scheduling system they have must be obsolete because we were at the first hole for not more than 5 minutes and we had 3 or more carts waiting. him and his staff failed to mention any rules stating that we could not have a party of more than 4. He said that we were supposed to have golf clubs for each person which they failed to mention when we were renting one for each cart. we were new to this and could not get much help. We were trying to be respectful and told him that if anyone who was more experienced needed to go ahead of us then we were willing to do that, but unfortunately that was not good enough. It was not the best first experience and we were trying our best to be respectful and hurry so others could go. We even tried to go at a later time so we would not be in the way of anyone that was faster and better than us. we decided that we would just leave and not cause any more problems. we asked for a refund since we could not play a hole at all but we were told that we could only get a rain check. we do not want to come back and would not recommend this place to anyone who is new or trying to get into golfing. I wanted to play and I paid $53 dollars to not play at all since it was a problem for us. Do not come here at all unless you go on their off season as a beginner or unless you are an experienced player
