Snead State Community College

Honestly I love this school. Everything about it. I live in the Dorms and I say it’s definitely worth it! You get meal plans, everyone is usually nice, and it’s a fun environment. The teachers are so nice, responsive, and engaging. Classes aren’t too stressful, and if they are, they have a lot of resources available. I’ve been here for about two months and I think it’s a wonderful school to come to if you’re considering a two year or transferring after community college. The cafeteria food is also really good!! You can buy it or if you’re in the dorms, you’re on the meal plan and get fed twice a day Monday-Thursday, and once on Friday and Sunday. Nothing on Saturday.

Most awesome Community College in the State of Alabama. This is a smaller school that provides students smaller classes, allowing the instructor to know the student. The college includes academics, athletics, fine arts, and technical programs. The oldest associate degree granting two year college in the state. Formed as an elementary through high school in 1898 it became a junior college in 1935 and was a private institution until 1967 when it joined the state system of junior colleges. Students can be active in sports as well as clubs.

Snead State is an awesome Community College. My son Termichael, love it so much that he is willing to sacrifice his summer break early. The staff has made an great impact in making him a more responsible person. His basketball coaches and advisor Mrs. Rhodes are AMAZING. #Sophomoremom💖 …
