Sand Mountain Amphitheater

Really great local tennis courts. Clean, well maintained, and super close to my house. I’ve always enjoyed playing here during the day. Unfortunately, the biggest downside is the lighting. The lights automatically shut off at 9 PM, and unlike Boaz, there’s no button to turn them back on(there is they just have never been wired to work). Boaz stays lit until 11 PM and gives players control of the lights, which is a game changer, especially during summer evenings when all of my friends want to play after work. Until the lighting situation improves, I will still make the drive to Boaz even though it's farther. I’d love to see a lighting system upgrade here—these courts and the community deserve it!

The mad max wasteland. Concern about how bad this looks has been brought to managements attention by multiple owners over the last year and they have completely disregard our concerns. Owners have tried to pay with their own money to have these things fixed and the piss poor management here chooses to take 0 action. Don’t time the dog park on the wrong day or it’s a mud pit <3 ^_^

Been here so many times, only problem I’ve had is that the water filter in the bottle refill station wasn’t in the best condition. Im sure they planned to fix it soon though.
