Food Lion

Got mixed feelings on this. Went in the first time , great. Return , it was later around 9pm , and I felt like I was being watched and followed. Couldn't decide what steak I wanted so picked up last 2 packs of each, so I would get one. Then proceed to shop fir everything else. I'm from NC and there the $ store coupons are accepted at Food Lion. So I'm checking coupons on phone and trying to locate shopping list. Male manager steadily behind me on phone then I go to another aisle and female manager is at end watching and on her phone. As I approached she said "got her" and hung up. I ignored this and approached her to be sure the coupon thing worked here, good thing I asked ,since it doesn't. Therefore had to back track and change out some items. Here comes male manager, blocking shelves behind me. I proceeded to swap out then head to ice cream and here she is waiting and staring at me. I wanted to just leave the buggy by now. I felt extremely uncomfortable and felt like they thought I was stealing. Anyhow decided to go ahead and get both steaks and went to check out. She follows and watched my groceries until both steaks went through then walks away. I just assume that they've had theft and Therefore acted this way. Who knows but it's not very nice . Following customers shopping and watching their orders is beyond necessary. Go watch your camera and don't make customers uncomfortable. I've been back 1 more time but just to grab a couple last minute items. I'll shop elsewhere

This is a great Food Lion. The best in the area! It is clean, very well laid out and stocked, has many fantastic employees and has an expansive produce section and more. Wide aisles, lots of options, and many great deals throughout the store. This is the best Food Lion around. I recommend you shop here if you crave a lighter amount of chaos and travel than say, Walmart, or Kroger.

Friendly and helpful employees 1st ... of all. 2nd ... a very clean grocery store. 3rd ... room for plenty of each item on the shelves. I really appreciate all of the work and effort that goes into maintaining it. Thank You management and employees ‼️
