Ivy Hill Golf Club

Ivy Hill is one of the best publicly accessible golf courses in the Lynchburg area. The course is generally in good shape and is one of the more difficult layouts in central Virginia. Accuracy is a must when playing here due to nearly every hole having out of bounds and being extremely tight. The staff are very professional and treated me very kindly during my round and I had pleasant interactions with fellow golfers as well. This is a course that everyone should play and is one of the more affordable golf options in the area.

Love this course—very reasonable price for a great value. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Membership is a great value, specifically the introductory individual one. Putting greens and practice facilities are pristine. Favorite course in the area. My only complaint is that the course is quite difficult due to all the out-of-bounds stakes around the course.

Fantastic course! It's a very challenging course. It demands that you hit a lot of placement shots. It's in fantastic condition as well and has some really good views. My only suggestion would be to add more directional signs. There were a few times where we had no idea where to go. Other than that, we will be back!
