What people say about (Quinton Oaks Golf Course)

Ernest Crowder

Course would not accept Tee Time Golf pass. Told us that July 5 was a holiday must be a new one as I thought July 4 was the holiday this was a big surprise as told them I was wanting to use the Tee Time Golf Pass discount when calling and making the tee time. Course overall was in good shape a lot of tee boxes were dirt some greens had bad spots near the clubhouse greens and tee boxes were great fairways were excellent. Would play again with they would honor there Tee Time Golf Pass that they have discounts listed in.

Played in a tournament here today. Greens were in great shape; however, many of the fairways needed some help. Definitely some challenging holes - a couple of the tee boxes were also in pretty rough shape. There is a driving range and plenty of space to park. Overall, not a bad experience.

I played here in 93 94 they had not been open long at the time, it was a interesting course to play, I have been wanting to go play a round so I did. The course in general is in need of attention, granted the greens are the best part of it, and they are fair. The grass on some holes in front of the green was so tall it was hard to find your ball. The sand traps have weeds growing in them, some had water standing in them. Even the parking lot has weeds cigarette butt's and sticks. I played 18 never saw a mower or a worker doing anything. I live here in the Neck and would be nice to have a nice place to play. I'm not trying to cut the place down to the ground, but I feel no effort in put forth to maintain the grounds. I know it takes a lot to keep it nice, but someone to pull some weeds rake, blow the sticks out of the parking lot can't cost but so much, If I owned It would do it myself. Also update the website, it says twilight is 1 pm and 27, so get the 1:45 charged 36 and twilight is 2 pm, I payed the 36. Maybe Dean will read this and take some action to make it better. Sorry just being honest.
