If I had the money I would build courses like this one all over the country- free, open to the public, informal enough that a beginner can comfortably just wander on and hit around, but maintained well enough that an experienced golfer can enjoy a quick practice round. Bring extra balls - it's very difficult to find balls in the rough. Also, watch out for the intersection of fairways near the green of hole 1. It could be easy to walk into the path of someone teeing off on 2 if you're unfamiliar with the layout of the course.

Great free course! The greens are very well maintained! The only reasons I give it a four and not a five are due to the last three holes (7,8, and 9) being very hilly and hard to play, and the fact that the mats are hard to tee up in.

Great course and especially so for being free. The only gripe I have is the tee mats on some holes are blocked with broken tees and make it hard to play from.
