Deseret Industries Thrift Store & Donation Center

I used to love DI. I’ve found some amazing deals there. Recently they have been marking their prices way too high. I found a truck tool box there that had big holes cut into it, pretty much useless. They still wanted $300 for it. Come on Deseret Industries, you need to do better. You get all this stuff from donations. Another concern is how rude they have become both in the store and at the donation drop off. It almost seems like they don’t want anyone to donate or buy anything anymore.

This is the most mystical place I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I would sell my soul to come here again. I found my love and my companion one of the employees Peggy she is the most beautiful lady I’ve ever laid my eyes on. I can’t believe how amazing it was being in her presence I decided to buy a plushy Because I was so in love I named it Peggy after her and he’s been my best friend and companion ever since this DI is amazing. The employees are beautiful and their prices are mediocre.

On April 30th around 12:55, I donated just a smaller bin full of stuff. I handed it out of my drivers side window and said, "This is all I have." Pretty simple and quick, I had not even left the overhang at this point when a woman who was at the donation spot mocked my voice as I was driving away, not quietly but quite loud as it shocked the others in my car. A grown woman mocking others is very unprofessional and for almost no reason. At least wait for the person to leave. I love being able to donate and not waste stuff, and this one experience has ruined this DI for me.
