Big 5 Sporting Goods

The only good customer service I got was the shoes section guys, and the manager on duty, everyone else was not really doing their job and focused. The original girl(floor staff)who supposedly was helping me didn't help me get the shoes after I came back she was on her phone and glanced up and than ignored me after noticing me going back to her little phone. 2- There was a guy who was a worker but not clocked in who tried to help me but then he started talked about his mental problems while I was simply trying to shop. 3- The cashier lady kept telling she couldn't listen because of her age multiple times when she's young enough and than she tried to bring up political things to create a bad work environment. If it wasn't for the manager and shoe section guys, I would have simply left somewhere else. Due to this, I hope rehiring happens because this was a bad experience by far. I felt highly eye balled and watched the entire time and fully disrespected.

Bought some snow boots at the Big 5 store in salt lake city two days ago and on my first wear a hook snapped. Made the return at this store. The manager made the process very easy and was very helpful. Could have done a refund but I decided to get hiking boots instead and do an exchange (I bought snow boots at a different store right after the hook snapped off the other ones. I needed them right away). Mathew was very attentive and helped me find the right hiking boots for the exchange. Thanks for the help Mathew!

Went in to purchase a canopy/quickshade and the employee (wish I remembered his name) showed us right where to go. When we had questions on pricing (I wish it showed right on the box, however) he was close by and showed us prices and reviews to help us choose. He was not pushy. Helped us with a hand truck to the front of the store THEN he helped us find and use a 10% discount!! THEN he proceeded to haul it to our car in the parking lot. VERY pleased with my purchase and, more so, the service! The canopy was better quality AND CHEAPER than Walmart right around the corner. Big 5 just earned a loyal customer at the Logan, UT location!!! THANKS!!!
