What people say about (Mt. Ogden Golf Course)

Matt Housley

This is an amazing and beautiful course. The elevation changes are fun. This is a challenging course and the trees eat a lot of golf balls 😎 …

Incredibly beautiful course that rates within the Top 5 of 274 courses I've played. Wickedly challenging - a course I could play every day and never get bored. I played it Monday, October 16, my third time in the Ogden area from WA. The views of the Salt Lake Valley and peaks to the east draped in Fall colors were spectacular! Very accommodating and friendly staff! Hope to return every Fall!

It pains me to leave this review, I’ve golfed at this course for over 7 years and have had nothing but good things to say. I love the course layout and have had no complaints about the staff as they’ve all been friendly, until now. There was a larger, older gentleman who works at the pro shop and must’ve been a recently hired as I’ve never seen him at this course before. I experienced the absolute worst customer service over the phone. He was extremely rude and condescending. I showed up to my tee time on-time, and while I was walking up to the tee box, he began to harass both me and my playing partner over the intercom/PA system. He began making passive aggressive remarks, and then taunted us while trying to tee off. He continued to talk during my partner’s back swing. It was completely unprofessional and I have NEVER experienced anything like this at any golf course I’ve played at. I have loved playing at this course and would otherwise rate it with 5 stars until I had this interaction with the person. I am still in shock at how we were treated and am concerned for other golfers who have to unfortunately interact with this person. This occurred on Thursday, April 10th.
