Duped. That's the feeling of staying here. The place is an absolute dump, especially for the prices. The pictures are false advertisements because the pool and other amenities they show online belong to the neighboring worldmark resort and …

Always love coming here! Great hot tube and racquetball courts. Also good sized fitness center. Rooms and living areas always clean and ready. Staff is always smiling. Just wish the pool could open earlier in the year if the weather is good earlier.

Wow...just Wow! $200 a night for a condo (Room 109) that was built in the early 90's and still looks and feels that way! ALL of beds were so saggy that we had to return home early as everyone's back's were killing them the next morning! …

We thoroughly loved our stay here over Presidents’ Day weekend. The office staff were nice. I bought a log for the fire but we were usually warm and didn’t feel like using it, but did in the end, just for the nostalgia. The unit was clean …

Although other buildings have been fine at this resort, building I unit 102 was not. Bedroom could not be heated above 60 degrees so no sleep. Pull out sofa bed was in disrepair. It tried to pull down in the middle to fold feet and head …

The staff was nice and we visited during the off-season, but the overall feeling to the place was a bit dated and worn down. There were a few idd things like having electric outlets directly behind pillows, as in no headboard. The place was nice, though no 5 star.

I've been coming here for over 30 years. My parents literally brought me in a baby carrier when they bought the timeshare. I now am bringing my family here as well for the pool and other amenities such as racquetball, scenery, etc. …

Great vacation retreat in the mountains! Nice suite with full kitchen and family room. Beds were ok, but everything else was great. Nice amenities too!

Duped. That's the feeling of staying here. The place is an absolute dump, especially for the prices. The pictures are false advertisements because the pool and other amenities they show online belong to the neighboring worldmark resort and they have disassociated so guests here are no longer allowed access. The rooms are super outdated, bugs galore. the TVs don't even work half the time. No one was available for check in. Don't even think about cooking with the provided pans. Don't get duped. Go elsewhere.

Wolf Creek Village 1 in Eden, Utah, (the section managed by VRI/Capital Vacations) The good: The fantastic location. It is conveniently situated just a 5-minute drive from Powder Mountain and a 20-minute drive from Snowbasin. Additionally, the proximity to Bower Lodge bar and restaurant, which is owned by Powder Mountain, is a definite plus, as it is just a 2-minute walk away, and seeing deer roaming around for most of our stay was a bonus. - The size of the unit. Although we had booked a 2-bedroom unit, we were delighted to discover an extra loft with 4 single beds, providing ample space for our group. The staff members were friendly and responsive, For a record snowfall season they managed the snow removal in a timely manner. Wolf Creek Village 1 has access to the gym and club facilities of WorldMark by Wyndham, except they do close at 8pm which is a little early for a clubhouse. Room keys are old-school, and not FOB, so it means someone HAS to be present during club hours, but if it were changed to FOB keys, club hours could be longer and you could use the gym and sauna a little later. In a conversation with the front desk, they mentioned that WorldMark was currently charging VRI a significant amount for the rights to use these facilities. They alluded to the fact that they may not continue the contract but considering that VRI advertises these facilities online (and it is probably part of the contract for owners), it seems likely that they may need to agree to whatever rate WorldMark requests going forward. The negatives: - the outdated nature of the property. It appeared that very little had been upgraded since its initial construction, giving the place a tired and worn-out feel. This lack of modernization was disappointing, as it detracted from the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay. - The noise level you could hear your neighbors very well. We encountered a neighbor who smoked on the balcony, and the smoke often wafted into our unit. - The level of cleanliness left much to be desired. We found long black hairs in the shower, and some glasses and plates still showed signs of inadequate washing. This lack of attention to cleanliness left us feeling uneasy, and we ended up running everything through the dishwasher before use just to be sure. - The condition of the pots and pans in the kitchen was very poor and almost unusable. The non-stick coating had mostly worn off, making cooking a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Apart from the inconvenience, there were also health concerns regarding the non-stick material flaking off into the food. It is worth noting that Wolf Creek Village 1 consists of 10-15 units owned by VRI/Capital Vacations. However, there are also WorldMark by Wyndham units on the same property, which may be more updated. This observation raised questions about the allocation of maintenance fees paid by timeshare owners. Considering the substantial fees they contribute, (probably $50k per unit per year) it is disheartening to think that only a fraction of that amount might be invested in cleaning and maintenance efforts. (maybe $10k-$15k?) In conclusion, while the location and size of the units at Wolf Creek Village 1 were impressive, the overall experience was marred by the outdated facilities, noise issues, and cleanliness concerns. I was fortunate that I managed to get a week in a 2-bedroom unit in late March (still prime ski season in Utah) through an Interval getaway for $500~, so all things in perspective it was a great deal. However, if I had paid a lot more or was an owner paying higher maintenance fees, I would be quite disappointed. Would I visit again? Maybe if there was a similar deal, although I do like to stay ski-in/ski-out or within a 5 min drive, so would only do so if I had a multi-day Powder Mountain pass, and not just the Ikon pass which was the 20-minute drive to Snowbasin. Would I pay retail or 'normal' hotel prices to stay? Definitely not.

This place is unforgettable The Good: It's a nice isolated area which is great for getting away. The place is very clean and neat. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, utensils and equipment. The managers office has some extra things that can be borrowed like games. The living room couch is also very comfortable. The Bad: The bedroom is cramped, the furnishings while still in good condition are somewhat outdated, resembling the lovechild of a motel 6 and the average house. The kicker though was the heater. We were here December 28th-January 3rd. On New Years Eve the heat kicked the bucket. So far we have waited over 26 hours for the heat to be fixed and every time we call the emergency line they keep telling us the heat should be fine in a few hours. The temperature inside was 49 degrees and dropping. Will provide an updated review as the situation continues to play out.
