Absolutely loved our stay at Lost Pines Hyatt. A wonderfully thought out Austin, Texas family friendly experience! Rooms were clean, spacious and above all the staff was friendly and helpful. We hope to have the chance to return some day soon!
Today, my friends and I had another fantastic outing at Lost Pines golf course, our second visit in nearly a year. The weather was perfect, and we enjoyed the game even more this time around. The staff were incredibly courteous and professional, ensuring a delightful customer experience. The greens were lightning-fast, requiring careful attention to avoid overshooting with the putter. The lady at the counter provided thorough instructions on where to go and how to play, including details about the driving range and our tee time. Tiny’s cafe offered a great spot for drinks, snacks, and a restroom break before the 1st and 10th holes, as well as after the 11th. Their breakfast tacos were deliciously generous, and I was impressed by the taste of the chicken salad sandwich. Restrooms were conveniently located near the 5th and 18th holes. Holes 14, 16, and 17 proved to be the most challenging, but still immensely enjoyable, though expect to lose a few balls. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return!
Have played many course throughout the years all over the U.S. and this is our first golf trip to Austin. Lost Pines was our first of 5 courses and is was definitely the worse of them all. The course is not well kept at all from the range to the fairways to the greens. The layout gives the course potential if the resort put some money into the maintenance. As such, the fee of $170 is way overpriced. I only look pictures of the range and didn't bother for the rest of the course because it was bad.
