Clubhouse, pro shop, and Restaurant AMAZING STAFF!! 10/10 No restaurant they have sandwiches, hot dogs, drinks, and snacks Clubhouse/Pro shop Equipment choices 6/10 Ball Options 6/10 (titliest or reloads) Practice facilities - 6/10 $8 Large Bucket (approx 100 balls) - Range 5/10 - Practice bunker unusable - Practice the same condition as course greens (Huge Points, this is very important to low handicap golfers) Round details August 7th, 2024 - 110 degrees Wednesday Afternoon Round Price $40/18 holes w/ Cart I played the Tips (Black) Black - 7359 yards, Rating 76.7, Slope 144 Blue - 6732 yards, Rating 73.8, Slope 141 White - 6145 yards, Rating 70.70, Slope 136 Stint Meter Green Speeds - Est 8 Pace of Play - 3hrs 45mins Green Conditions - 8/10 - no visible issues, but slow and bumpy. They need a punched cross-cut and rolled. Fairway Conditions - 7/10 - need some holes filled and dead spots fixed. - Tips Only - Some shots are blocked by overhanging and downed trees. Bunkers 3/10 unplayable IMO - I played out of one and was like hitting of concrete, lots of DIRT and pebbles in the bunkers! Other Important Notes - - Minimal Cart Path to keep a more natural feel. I had to navigate some holes along the way - Water jugs were full (HUGE BONUS again, 110 degrees) More Details - The staff was Awesome, very nice, attentive, and we had a great conversation! The Price point was excellent compared to Dallas prices now. ($40 on Wednesday Afternoon, $57 on weekends) (Thanks for nothing, PGA!!) Regarding the course, the last time I played was in 2020; it was in tour shape, simply excellent! Since then, the conditions are not as great: holes in the fairways, a few tee boxes were more dirt than grass, and I couldn't play the tips on a couple of holes (8 & 11) due to trees growing in the ball flight path, or trees & branches down that need to be cleared, ALOT of giant holes or dips that you have to drive thought since there is no cart path since they are trying to keep it more natural which works great but you have to have smooth places to drive the carts. It's simply not as great as the other 20-some. Sometimes I have played it. I am a 3 Handicap, and the tips are very manageable if you are a traveling three handicap and not a 12 handicap playing with clubs for a three handicap :) I was playing the tips (7359 yards, Rating 76.7, Slope 144), so maybe they are not maintained, but I also figure they are not used as much at almost 7400 yards. The layout (2nd favorite; the only course that beats the layout, IMO, is Wolf Creek in Mesquite, Nevada) is very impressive, with rolling hills, lots of elevation, a few blind tee shots, and several holes along Bringle Lake. From the tips, there are very demanding shots that you have to carry 260 to get to the fairway (11-par 4 & 14 - par 3 (240yrd all carry), & 16 par 5 (through Trees 260 over water)). Course tee times are 10 minutes apart and are not expensive, $57 prime-time golf. They will do packages (I used to have a 30-person money game twice a year). Hopefully, they will get it cleaned up so we can return. It is a hidden gem. They need someone to understand what they have, take pride in it, and give it some TLC! Thanks!

My younger son wanted to start Golf hence we got some low level clubs and headed to the driving range. We meet Jesse Ward and he provided 30 minutes junior training. Since the first lesson, my son really likes how he explains it and is eager to have the next lesson. Each time afterwards, I can see the improvement in my son's play.
