Played Waterloo and this course was awesome! The course was pretty open and apparently there is an Airbnb that you can rent out to enjoy the ranch. Keep in mind that cow do roam the property and there is patty’s. Overall I’d your a disc golfer it’s a must go. Need to play again once they rearrange the course
If you're a disc golfer, this is one of the most memorable experiences you'll have in Texas. I have had the wonderful opportunity of playing this course 5 consecutive years for Texas Camping Championships that they hold every year in November. This amazing team Invitational is one of the most memorable experience of my life. The courses are extremely challenging and varies in elevation and shot selection that you'll need to be competitive. The pro boxes on this course are no joke. If you have one hell of an arm, you'll have a blast on certain parts of the course. Even if you don't have a long arm, this course can get very technical in some of the wooded areas and leave for some tricky approach shots with clever basket placements. There are two major tournaments that are held here every year and a couple of mini tournaments that happen from time to time. The big tournaments that starts off the spring Disc Golf season is the Red Rock Show and the tournament that ends Disc Golf season happens in October for Oktoberfest. If you ever have an opportunity to play this course in any capacity, I highly suggest you get motivated to do so! An experience like no other, this place exemplifies what it feels like to be in the Disc Golf community.
Absolutely one of my all time favorite places to play disc golf!! Long, wooded yet wide open areas to throw. 3 ponds on the 2 championship caliber courses, all on rolling hills with sandy topsoil, so it drains quickly! Love this course!! Dave Moody is the man!!
