All I can say is wow. I’m not sure why this isn’t all five stars. Maybe they updated this five or so years ago but over the last two years that I’ve visited this golf course it has been very plush. It’s actually my favorite golf course in the entire Houston metro area. You’re right next to the airport so you’ll see small and jet airplanes land along with helicopters coming in frequently. You also get a view of the pyramids from Moody Gardens as well it is incredible. As for the course, the fairways and greens couldn’t be any better. The course is also perfect in terms of a challenge you got wide fairways, but some challenging shots, and tough greens for putting. It is the ultimate experience and I give it my highest recommendation
Definitely a recommend in Houston area. Fairways, greens and even the bunkers are very well maintained and pace of play was nice. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The only down side I can think of was the mosquitos so you need that bug repellent with you - though did not help that much in my case. The greens could be faster but given the heat I guess this is somewhat inevitable. Not saying its slow but just saying. I am new to the area and am visiting courses in random order, this course is on top of the list so far. Its about an hours drive from the Heights area but definitely worth the drive.
We played this course twice while on vacation. Beautiful golf course! Very well maintained. Coastal links style. Fun track! Highly recommend playing here!
