I've lived in the area all my life and have never been to the Mineola Nature Preserve, and boy, have I been missing out. I didn't have a whole lot of time, but with what I didn't get to see, it's a beautiful place, and I look forward to going back to experience more.
Always love my walking time here! They have clean nice trails, fishing, ponds, cool bridges, totem pole, nice restrooms, big play area, covered picnic area, cool windmill, beautiful wildflower & butterfly garden, archery, equestrian trails, disc golf course, bee hive & wildlife viewing stations, just to name a few things! They have 3 different pond areas, very nice covered pavilion that can be rented out, an amphitheater great for field trips or weddings, and equestrian area with parking for trailers. This preserve is so peaceful & beautiful no matter how many people are out there, it’s never too busy to enjoy it!
They expanded and opened the rest of the nature preserve. ITS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE IVE EVER SEEN ! Can’t go wrong walking here ! Be sure to have your phone charged or grab a map they have at the resting area. Have fun !
