What people say about (Northcliffe Golf Club)

Scott Wynd

There's some positives and negatives here. Good things are that the price is super cheap and it's easy to get round quickly (I just shot 18 holes alone in 2:15). Downside of this course is that it's not looked after very well. Fairways in some areas are indistinguishable from the rough, and the greens have bare spots, lots of dings, and some crazy tufts of grass here and there. I'd give the course alone 2 or 3 stars, but the low price and speed to get round are what brought my overall rating back up.

OK I would have given it a zero but they didn't offer that low a review. No greens, lost sometime ago in the last year because their greens keeper has no idea of how to manage the greens or the fairways for that matter. Fairways are tight lies of sparse Bermuda grass with weeds and dirt patches. I paid $25 to play 18 holes with a cart but that was about $25 too much to play on such a goat track. They really ought to plow it under, reseed and hire a new course manager/greens keeper. Other wise the pro and some of the staff were pleasant.

Could be a nice course if they did a lot of maintenance. Rough fairways and even rougher greens. The golf marshall is VERY strict. Only $25, but I would rather spend another $25 for a much nicer course.
