Very “meh”. Course has a nice layout, but the greens look pretty bad. Also the pace on the back 9 is not monitored. It got backed up starting on 14. I ran out of light and had to quit by 16. Through 16 holes, I did not see one beverage cart. If you stay here, you have to ask the geo fence to be disabled on the carts so you can get your clubs from your car/building/room, etc. Overall, it’s not a bad course but the experience is annoying considering what you pay. The two stars is reflecting the value for the dollar more than the actual conditions or course itself. I wouldn’t avoid this course, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it or go out of my way for it.
Loved it. Greens were only ok for condition, but this course is challenging and beautiful. Took my sons on Christmas day, and we loved it. Staff was terrific.
It was rainy and Drizzly, so unfortunately the course was cart path only even though the course was dry. This was my first time playing the course and I was told it was a good course, unfortunately i would disagree. Overall the course was pretty easy and not that much of a challenge. Bunkers were in good shape but the greens were spotty and bare on some holes. It was obvious they lost some of their greens. Hole 14 was the worst of all. See pic below. Carts had a rain cover to protect the clubs. That was nice. The best piece of golf gear I own came in very handy again, a hand squeegee! Range balls are included but I had to hit from mats. The mats do not allow you to put a tee, small or full size in, so it was irons and hybrids only. The range is elevated too so it was hard to get distances. I saw no beverage cart. The course is well laid out. I just don’t know if it is worth the prices being charged for greens fees. There are better options in SAT for that price point.
