Barren River Lake Golf Course

Very disappointing for the cost. We show up an hour early to warm up. The putting green is blocked off. We ask why it's blocked off and the attendant begrudgingly says "they don't want nobody on it". Ok? We asked if they would put us on some hot dogs for when we make the turn, he said ok. Heading to the driving range and see that you have to use your own balls then go pick them up? Wow. The fairways are in good condition. The greens have dead spots and rots. The BUNKERS are empty and filled with rocks?!? At the turn we go inside the club house. The rollers are off. No hotdogs. The attendant says there's not enough people on the course to warrant dogs on the rollers. He said he didn't want to throw them away. What a joke. This was the worst experience I've had for $42. Avoid this golf course at all costs until they remodel. Pathetic.
