Pepper Branch Park

I made a quick stop here last week. It's one of those places I've passed by and wished I planned ahead for a nice lunch spot. Apparently it a decent local fishing spot. On this day, there were over a dozen men in the water, casting out their lines. A local sheriff's deputy was parked here, possibly just making a presence or enjoying a lunch break? It felt very safe and definitely a beautiful spot for everyone.

Beautiful park well maintained and clean modern restrooms. Many activities for young and old including frisbee golf course. Gorgeous waterfall/spillway with nice shallow wading creek for the little ones. Exercise equipment and kids climbing wall!

Nice little park with a bit to do. There is a bit of history with the area itself and the hydro dam and rail bridge. There is swimming and fishing, walking and exploring. There are also plenty of hidden gems here like fossils and a waterfall. Great place to spend the day by yourself or with family.
