This course really is not worth the drive out there. I can think of two positives. First, the design is interesting. It was designed by a Scotsman and has the links style feel you expect from them. Secondly, the lone employee I have ever …

This is a great small town 18 hole course... You'll never be rushed. You will love the scenery of the Tennessee river. The course is laid out very nice and has a very spacious footprint. The greens are older and adds to the challenge of the …

I am sad. This course has never been Augusta, but the green were solid for East, TN 15 years ago, and unfortunately that is no longer the case. The lay out of this course is second to none in the area, but the crab grass has taken over …

A beautiful piece of land and golf course right on the river. The fairways are wide and the people that own the place are extremely friendly. A hidden gem. There are rarely many people on the course. Nice course to walk and pretty inexpensive. 25 to ride 18 on the weekend and 10 to walk 9 during the week.

Nice 18 hole golf course on watts bar lake. Par 72 for the course. Pretty even and not many hills. Good for a regular game of golf. Putting greens could use some improvements.

Was kicked off the course by "Karen" she literally hid in the bushes to catch my 13 year old daughter driving a golf cart. Mean lady. Not kind and course is not maintained at all. Glad I don't go through life like her. Feel sorry for her and her family. Also bring your own tools to fix your golf cart. Lol.

Really damp conditions but course in good condition considering recent weather and it is mid February after all. Beautiful day been close to 3 months since we were able to play a round of golf. See others playing in worse weather conditions but when you are 80+ it takes a good day to get out.

Angela aka Angi Martin

We love playing here. The staff is always so nice. The greens were a little rough last time we played but The atmosphere is so nice and the course has a great mix of challenging holes to play.

Joshua Gibbs

Staff was very nice, but course is awful. Greens were unplayable and not much difference between fairways and rough. They will have to make a lot of changes before I will play there again.

My first time at the course and overall the layout was too my liking. There is length in the par 4s. The downside is that the greens are the worst I have EVER played on. Crabgrass has spread into them. Between that and the dead spots you cannot roll a ball without hopping. They are not greens but rather low cut fairways. Another issue I had was that the distances seemed off. I was generally one club long and on the back nine started purposely taking one club less than I would normally play. Even after that I would tend to be slightly long. There was one hole, I believe number 8 that said 395 from the white tees. I hit driver and was 80 out. I am not long and normally hit it no further than 250. The people were friendly and the price, $25 for 18 with a cart, was very reasonable. Despite the great price the greens will keep me from going back. That's too bad because it has more length than most and would be a great municipal golf course if they fixed the greens.

This course really is not worth the drive out there. I can think of two positives. First, the design is interesting. It was designed by a Scotsman and has the links style feel you expect from them. Secondly, the lone employee I have ever interacted with there is friendly. So that's a plus. Otherwise, all negatives. Course conditions are awful. Tee boxes are unlevel, fairways are indistinguishable from the rough, greens are unplayable; they're like putting on a pinball machine. Golf carts are old and in bad shape; my last round there my cart nearly stopped running on me and I quit halfway through my round because of it. The price of 25 dollars for 18 is not horrible, but there's a much nicer course 5-10 minutes away with the exact same rates. All told, I would never recommend this golf course.

This is a great small town 18 hole course... You'll never be rushed. You will love the scenery of the Tennessee river. The course is laid out very nice and has a very spacious footprint. The greens are older and adds to the challenge of the diamond in the rough. If your looking for a challenging course that's easy on the wallet, swing in! Tee times not needed most days and staff are very friendly. Kingston is lucky to have a 18 hole course. It's under $30 with a cart for 18 holes, under $20 with cart for a quick nine. Holes: 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, and 16 are either bordered by water or have a sustacial water hazard cut the fairway which adds to the beauty and challenge of the small town course. Good luck.
