What people say about (Dayton Golf & Country Club)

JR Gentry, Jr.

The course was in great shape. The staff was polite and helpful. Only problem was the young man running a weedeTer near my truck sent rocks at me and my truck when my cousin asked him to refrain around the cars. He continued anyway hitting both me and my truck with rocks: otherwise, the course was fun to play. We were not rushed and it happened to me a most beautiful day. I enjoyed playing golf with my cousin who is a member there. It was a good drive from Knoxville but we'll worth the trip. I will always be available to play there every opportunity I get. I just hope the weedeater guy has finished before I get there! Great course.

Robert Green

My wife and I played here for 1st time today. Only played the front 9. The course was in poor condition except for the greens which were pretty nice but dry, hard and fast. It was also mostly flat and not very challenging except for finding the next tee and direction of the green. The red tees were in very confusing places. The green for hole 7 was just a couple of feet away from a large pond and impossible to approach. You are either in the pond or way over the green. Finding the tees for 8 was stupid with them all being mixed up with some of the tees for 7. We just skipped to 9 which was straight boring and flat just like most of the front 9. It would have helped to have a layout of the course on the score card but instead it was a bunch of local businesses advertising. Probably won’t play there again.

I was very impressed with this course in Dayton, TN. They have a challenging course with great greens. The course is maintained well. They even use gas golf carts. I had a great time here and will be back. They do have a restaurant but not many gluten free options. Maybe one day.
