High Gate Golf

A great little driving range! We visited this driving range on a day drive to take in the color of fall leaves. It is completely self service. It has a large tee area and a wide open fairway with several poles as targets. There is a shade shed with an automatic ball dispenser that takes debit and credit cards. We had our flatcoat retriever with us and he enjoyed a walk before sitting in the car AC. We were the only players there so he did not disturb anyone when he took off after the ball following one of my wife's drives. The views were scenic, tee grass was perfect, has bag stands that you move from the shed and back which is fine. It was not a factor with us, but there is not a restroom or water or anything like that. We brought our own refreshments. I wish it was closer to East Ridge - we will return!

This place is awesome! Little shack that dispenses golf balls, not very busy, five parking spaces, lawn chairs present, but no lights for after dark. It’s remote but if you live close a fun place to hit golf balls and practice. Yard stakes are present as well.
