McCabe Golf Course

Played the middle 9 at McCabe today. Walked right in and got a tee time. The staff was excellent, and made it very easy. The course was wet with all the rain we have had, but even then, in very very good condition. The grounds crew was actually out fertilizing greensides as I played through. A coupe of the tee boxes had a little ground in repair, but they have plenty of nice grass where the tees are. The greens are solid, aerated, and a little slow today with the rain but very challenging with the angulation the have. Look forward to going back when I have a chance and checking out the other two 9 hole tracks.

Great track and lovely people working there. Be careful if you need to rent clubs or want to ride as everything has to be back in the clubhouse by 6pm. Got a few holes in but loved it nonetheless.

As far as public courses go, this is one of my favorites in Nashville. The greens are pretty great and there’s multiple courses to play. The only issue is that it is first come, first serve and during the weekends with warmer weather it gets very crowded.
