What people say about (Beaman Park Nature Center)

David Danner

Great park for short & long walks. Bring your water bottles, purification kit if you choose. Lots of options to walk in the water and keep cool. The nature center has a cool display of birds & animals as well as restroom & lots of parking. Hiking longer trails - use one of two other parking lots. Have fun & stay safe. Wear your boots here.

It was a great place for the first hike of the year! Trails were well maintained and marked. We began at the Nature Center on the Sedge Trail (.6 mi). You can cross the creek or use the bridge. After crossing the creek. We hit the Henry Hollow Trail (2 mi). Lots of people were out enjoying the day.

Took my kids on a couple hikes today and this was wonderful! My son is 3, so it was kid friendly for the most part. We saw so many different mushrooms, it was a great educational hike. The center is also wonderful. Had a lot of hands on items for kids to explore. The workers were very friendly and helpful. We will be back!
