Well done course. It has some great elevation changes and challenging holes, which is pretty nice. Love the turf grass Tee pads, mulched Basket areas, brooms at each Tee Pad, and benches along the way. Keep up the great work! You're on your way to an outstanding place to play. It's worth the $5 pay to play!!
Blimp Base is a fantastic addition to the Oregon coast disc golf scene. Set against the backdrop of the historic Tillamook blimp hangars, the course offers a distinctive and memorable playing experience. The front nine holes are complete, weaving through coastal forest with a mix of uphill and downhill shots that test your accuracy and power. The course features well-maintained turf tee pads, complete with benches and brooms at each hole, and clear signage to guide players. While the rough can be thick in areas, especially off the fairways, it adds to the challenge—bringing a spotter is recommended. There's a $5 daily fee to play, which supports the Port of Tillamook and the Tillamook Disc Golf Club in maintaining and developing the course. Facilities are basic, with restrooms available but no drinking water on-site, so come prepared. Overall, Blimp Base offers a rewarding and scenic round of disc golf. Whether you're a local or just visiting the coast, it's well worth a stop.
Really fun course! Loved the tees and found navigation to be pretty straight forward for the most part. Some great lines and challenging holes. There is long grass/underbrush everywhere, even on what you might consider fairway. I had a spotter with me and I think you need it on this course. Will definitely be back to play every time I’m in the area!
