This is a beautiful and challenging course! It is also an amazing price for the great quality it provides. You get a great mix of long and short fairways. Some are border by trees while others are wide open and lined by water. A lot of wildlife as well. Awesome drink service out on the course and the club house has a lovely selection of products. All around a wonderful place to spend your day golfing!
We have detoured in our West Coast trip to experience this Arnold Palmer golf course. Golf course is challenging, more then standard resort quality, greens were fast and compounded by strong wind. Unfortunately, the first 6 tee times on Saturday were booked by private group supposedly playing tournament and holding everyone up. The two local members playing with me quit after two holes of waiting, I quit after 3 hrs and 9 holes when my polite requestto play through as a single was refused by the foursome of the group. No marshal maintaining the pace for play, my complain at the golf shop was met with shrug of shoulder. So if you want to come where to play golf, pickup any course in Bend, this is not worth the drive. Sad.
Had our wedding at the Running Y Resort and had a large group of golfers that loved the course. Jaren, the golf pro, was incredible. He helped organize our welcome dinner on the patio outside the pro shop, stayed late to help and was great at communication!
