What people say about (Cross Creek Golf Course)

Kevin Grogan (Grogie53)

Recently played Cross Creek mid-week and had a all-around enjoyable experience. The rates for 18 with a cart were very reasonable for this caliber coarse. The staff was very friendly and the club house offered hot dogs snacks and a wide variety of refreshments. It is a links style coarse that is wide open but still presents some challenges, especially on the back nine. Beautiful views of the coastal range and open fields. The carts were clean, comfortable and well maintained. I will definitely be back!

Great staff loved the course. Plugged the greens recently so a little rough putting. I'll update next time I play there. Definitely recommend. Great prices.

Greens were horrible. I’ve golfed in a lot of places and for $60 it’s waaay overpriced for what it is. Regarding their staff, right off the bat they thought one of my guests I was golfing with was trying not to pay for the round. What occurred was he thought I had paid for him and he walked away. This freaked them out and I explained that he would pay, not to worry. I don’t know what kind of customers they get often here, but I find it weird that the staff’s first thought was that he was trying to sneak a free round. After the last hole, the starter went out of his way to look for us to tell us that we took way too long despite us being some of the only people playing the entire course. He talked to us like teenagers in trouble even though we’re in out 40’s. We had a brand new player with us, but we were always mindful and in-etiquette. Never had someone waiting on us. I was already feeling like it wasn’t really worth it but after the starter came to us with a rude and condescending attitude I decided to write a review. Hopefully they get their staff some lessons in how to talk to customers and more importantly learn to take care of their greens.
