The course is usually really well maintained during the main season. It has really nice, new bunkers (if you like that kind of thing). This is a municipal course, so don't expect it to be Augusta, buy I would easily say it is one of the nicest municipal courses I have ever played.
We have a blast every time we play this course. It's extremely casual and family oriented while still feeling like an upscale club. Clubhouse proshop prices match Tulsa golf stores and they have ice and coolers available. They LOVE when responsible parents bring their kids to experience and encourage golf. The two people I have repeatedly dealt with there are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. They rarely charge for my tag along 7 year old, and it means all the world to see people promoting youth outdoor activities. Keep it up you guys!
Winter golf….the overall course is one of the best public courses in the Tulsa area (if you can include it as Tulsa area). But, there are too many greens in really rough shape. Played it in December and January. Lowered my ranking due to the pitiful shape of the greens. I fixed at least 3 ball marks on every green. It’s sad that people are this lazy or just don’t care. The worst greens I’ve played on in a year+. Bartlesville, you can do better here.
