Always enjoy playing golf at Chickasaw Pointe golf course during our annual DOGFEST Lots of fun playing golf for 3 days then playing cards and dominoes with a group of men at Choctaw Casino in Durant Oklahoma after golf each day.
This is a nice course with very nice staff and equipment. The food was amazing and almost everywhere had a beautiful view. The only thing that I’m being picky about is the greens. They’re inconsistent, all kinds of bumpy or completely eroded on a couple holes. I will return and I had a great time, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t frustrating.
Was paired up with a couple of local members, thank goodness! The course is the one of the most picturesque I’ve ever played. It’s such a vast track on Lake Texoma and with all the rain it’s difficult for the grounds crew to keep up, particularly the Bermuda greens. If you don’t mind some bumpy greens in places, it’s ideal and very demanding. The views certainly make up for the course condition. That said, most all courses, I’ve played lately in OK have some ground/flooding issues.
