The old snack bar is gone, I believe the bathrooms are still open, the building is a little dilapidated but the lake is lovely, warm and flowing and about knee deep pretty far out, this is free, this is free parking, good fishing, says about campsites on your entrance, but we're not staying the night. I definitely come back here for another swim to get refreshed on a summer day
Our family enjoys nature walks through the woods, grilling, swimming, or playing volleyball. Also a great spot to sit back and fish while the kids play. They have 2 different playgrounds, baseball fields for little League, and rodeo arena. Great walking paths with plenty of nature.
This place is wonderful! 🥰 My doggy and I walked the entire park and my goodness is it beautiful! I took plenty of photos lol so i hope you all enjoy. This park was nice and clean, filled with friendly faces. This is definitely a place for kids as they have at least 2 playgrounds that I can recall. There were designated areas for disc jockey, places to play volleyball, and plenty of lake to go fishing. In fact, I saw a man with his kids net fishing and they caught quite a bit. If you're ever in the area and love scenic walks, check this place out! You won't regret it ☺️ Also, it wasn't necessary for me to use the restrooms during my visit, but I'm certain that they are available. #HappyLiving 🤙🏽
