Lovely course. Always in great shape. Awesome bar service. Really challenging course that's a lot of fun

Make sure to see who leaves the good reviews. They’re probably lifetime members. Greens are extremely inconsistent and a few have giant dirt spots in them. I’m convinced the greens keeps only know how to mow decent and spray a hose over grass. Maybe this did used to be one of the greatest courses around but not anymore. It’s a good place for a golf course don’t get me wrong but if anyone else owned it, it would be spectacular I’m sure. No effort put forth, no care or knowledge by the greenskeepers. Just go ahead and go golf in Joplin or Baxter to get your moneys worth.

My wife and I drove to through on Nov 3rd, returning from Branson, where we played golf that weekend. They day was grey and sprinkling rain. We went into the clubhouse to see if the course was open, as there were cars in the parking lot and people in the building. The employee advised us the course was closed due to rain. We had been on the road a while so my wife went to the restroom and I sat in a chair in the entry way. After about 3-4 minutes, I heard the employee speaking with people in the restaurant. They said, "Can you believe those people asked to play after all that rain, idiots." Little did they know we hadn't left the building. It was insulting, to say the least. We had not been in the area. We drove through a couple of rain showers, but they were pretty light and short lived. We had no way of knowing the amount of rain the received the night prior. Needless to say, this course is not on our courses to return to again.
