Elkhorn Valley Golf Club

Haven't golfed in about ten years as a left hander growing up clubs were hard to find. My kids expressed an interest, so today for Father's Day I decided to take them golfing. While fishing for a few of our balls in the clink on 5 a gentleman approached me and said " I'm a board member and you can't do that" I said what? We hit our balls over here and I thought I'd try to recover our balls. He said " you're holding up golf on a busy day" I said I'm sorry my kids have never golfed before, and I haven't golfed in over 10 years. I spoke with some behind us since this board member felt entitled enough to hold me up from continuing to golf. Sounded like they were just as shocked as I was. They were like we have a tool for that and showed me. If your kids are interested in golf this is probably not the place for you to go.

A little gem of a course that we can't wait to play again. Fairways and greens were in pristinely perfect condition. The fairways were smooth, soft and so easy to hit off of. The greens were equally smooth and soft but they were really wet so we didn't get a lot of roll. I bet they're lightning fast when they're dry. I can't wait to play this course again during the spring or summer months.

The course looks amazing. Very well taken care of. Staff was fantastic and friendly. Great experience all around!
