What people say about (Spring Lake 9 Hole Golf Course)

Randall Seggerman

Billy goat course with a lot of hills. When I went with a son and grandson we rode carts. Glad we did as it was a little hot outside as well. Course was is reasonable shape. Tucked away in a lot of trees. Interesting mose of crossing 16th Street and also hitting over it on 9th hole. One complaint was the greens. Too sloped for my taste and grass was too short. I would hit the ball uphill and it would the roll downhill and off the green. I like some character in the greens, but this was painful on top many holes. Reasonable prices.

They have no control over the kids on the course. They started a confrontation with me and my Nephew. They don't know golf etiquette. Parking a cart next to a green and playing the next hole while we are trying to tee off on the previous hole then throwing there arms in the air. We yelled four and didn't hit them and our balls landed 10 feet from the green we were playing, They were listening to music in the cart and wearing a hoodie with it up on a 89 degree day. 5 people on that hole with 2 girls not playing in the cart listening to music. Most disrespectful kids I had ever met They were swearing and just plain rude. . I've been an Arizona golf association rep. I highly recommend not playing this course. Just wanted a nice day out with my family. Turned into stress.. The Clubhouse managers response was "kids will be kids." Not acceptable. City of Bellevue take notice. There is a strong scent of musty mold in the Clubhouse also.

Sir Visoroc

I am writing this review specifically for the young guy behind the counter who's name is Nate. I will talk about today's experience but also mention the 3 reviews I saw that mentioned him from a while ago. We arrive for our tee time and upon entering the clubhouse we witnessed Nate being literally yelled at by a very embarrassing older guy and could tell Nate was trying to help this man as much as possible. The guy mentioned how "every time Nate is there he has an issue" but didnt mention or respond when Nate said they had only met once. This guy was upset because he tried to book 18 holes and the OTHER employee he spoke too did it wrong. So he took all that out on Nate. Mind you Nate offered him a free round for a later time which the guy refused out of spite. I was thoroughly impressed with how nate kept his composure while the customer was being blatantly disrespectful. Props to you sir! Also I noticed the other reviews mentioning him. I noticed you said you showed up "on time". Sorry to tell you (and I hope Nate did tell you) that a tee time isnt an arrival time. Tee time means you should be seeing off at that time. As for the course, great shape and very fast greens!
