What people say about (Muny Park Campground)

Wonderful stop on our travel through Nebraska. Randomly chanced upon it to stop for the night. Stopped by the pool which was an awesome deal for $3 per person. Electric and water hookups for $25 plus dump station and bathrooms nearby. Highly recommended for a stop or a few nights to enjoy the park.

NOT FOR TENTS -> SPRINKLERS we arrived at sunset and it looked great, set up the tent, used the bathrooms (which were decent but not taken care of), checked out the pool area and came back to our tent being completely soaked by the sprinklers. Our beds soaked. Tent soaked. Everything that was in the grass. No warning, we didn’t expect there to be any issue but there is no designated tent area. There’s also not much privacy as it’s just a big field with a few trees.

This place was a wonderful mid week find! Going cross country we needed a place to stay for one night that was close to the highway. We read the other reviews about the airport and the trains but we happen to love both trains and planes. The planes did not fly after sunset so they weren’t flying late at night or anytime at dark. The trains did go by but didn’t bother us. It’s as fun to see them go by out our back window. Easy to pay, just pick your spot, fill out and envelope and pay at the restrooms drop box. They have dumpsters (that were packed.. you can tell many people dump here that aren’t just staying at or using the park itself). The spot was back in and had water and electric which was perfect for one night. The space is paved but not long enough to fit your tow vehicles so our truck was out in the gravel in front of the pad. The water pressure was good and level sites. The view of the grass and park behind was peaceful and beautiful. Mid week there was only one other Rv here but can imagine it can get crazy during weekends. Dump is on site and included for free with the cost of your Rv site (which was $25 in 2023).
