The Bluffs Golf Club at the National Golf Club

The Deuce has a unique layout to the area with some very severe hills and it makes for some picturesque holes. It does not, however, meet my expectations of a private course when it comes to conditions. I've played it twice now a couple of years apart and the greens were very similar...slow and not in the best shape. You can get a Groupon to play here for $75 or $80 for a twosome when they do their 20-25% off promos and I'd recommend playing it once just to see the course and the layout of a course that's unique to KC in my opinion.

Great course. Well maintained and challenging

Great club to belong to without breaking the bank. Men's league is huge and fun every Thursday evening. Tournaments throughout the year are great. Really good group of guys (and ladies) that make the club fantastic. Plus, the course is almost always in really good shape. Greens run quick, fairways are thick and full, and in the fall/winter you can zip around the course in under 3 hours.
