What people say about (Cedar Glen Golf and Outing)

Lincoln Milam

Really disappointed. It was my first time there and excited to shoot a new course. Looks nice when you pull in but the course was in rough shape. The fairways were rough and the bunkers were not sand. They were grass, weeds, leaves and dirt patches. Very disappointed.

I’ve been going to Cedar Glenn for just a few years, recently I noticed they got a drainage system and the course is dry! The new owners have definitely been doing a lot of hard work on the course and it shows! Nice and quiet course with friendly staff, I’d definitely recommend coming to play here.

I recently played a round at Cedar Glen and was pleasantly surprised by the improvements under the new ownership! So much so that I chose to join a league. The course conditions have clearly seen a lot of attention; the fairways were well maintained and the greens were a lot better than previous years. The tee boxes have seen a lot of effort! It's evident they're investing in bringing this course back to its full potential. One thing to be aware of is that they're currently unable to offer food or alcoholic beverages. I spoke with the staff, and it sounds like their liquor license is still being processed by the state. That’s totally out of their hands and can understand how they want it sooner rather than later. While it's a minor inconvenience for now, it's completely understandable given the circumstances of new ownership. I recommend bringing your own snacks. They do have pop and Gatorade for sale. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend checking out if you're looking for a well-maintained course. I'm excited to see what the future holds once their amenities are fully operational!
