Beech Woods Driving Range

Only two of the mats in the long game section have rubber tees. Seems like an easy fix.

Horrible experience…one of the the young kids that worked there approached me while I was hitting balls and spoke extremely disrespectfully as if I went onto the range to retrieve an extra ball to hit.. despite explaining to him it was my own ball that had rolled 1 foot in front of me with only one other person 50 feet away from me, he insinuated as if I was stealing a range ball ..saying he “saw what I did”.. when asked what that meant he said nothing.. The lady in the shop at the time afterwards spoke about how it’s a safety issue.. but as I explained to her that’s not what the kid said or implied.. he was implying I took an extra ball to hit, which I took offense to since he wasn’t aware of the full context of what had happened, which was I had retrieved my own ball a couple inches in front of me. Being rude and disrespectful to a customer then trying to regulate how I should react to false accusations is why businesses like this lose customers..

This place has potential to be a decent driving range, but the staff and management leaves a lot to be desired. The range closes at 8:30, even though there's lights that could easily extend these hours. The woman at the front desk was rude and condescending. I tried to get a bucket of balls at 8:02 and was told they were no longer selling buckets anymore because they close in a half hour. Also, there were no tees for any of the open matts (only 7 matts were used and I heard others complaining about no tees available), they were either broken or missing. With the right management in place, staff attitude adjustment, and some moderate upgrades, this range could be a great spot for local golfers to practice their game. Extending the hours to accommodate those that work to 6 pm or later would also likely bring in additional revenue. I would definitely make this a regular spot if improvements were made.
