A very diverse 18 hole course. There are straight fairways for you to just unleash a drive and others that make you rethink your approach. It is a very reasonably priced course. When busy, you will end up waiting a lot at each hole, so if your a fast golfer take this into account.
We got for an early season round. Can't beat that! Very friendly staff. The course was ready to play even with ice still on the pond. Can't say we did real well but definitely not the courses fault. Always enjoy a round at Missaukee Golf Club.
An absolutely beautiful course that is in great shape! The tee boxes are in great shape, the fairways are plush, and greens roll true. The layout is fun and there are a few hills to navigate, which makes it a fair challenge. Not overly long either and pretty wide open for landing areas. The negative: Zero course etiquette is enforced as far as speed goes. We were told to start on the back 9 as there would be a league beginning on the back nine as we would be finishing up 9 holes, that’s smart. However, once we got back to hole 1, there were 5 groups in front of us. Why put us off the back if you’re going to log-jam us up anyways? One of the groups was a two-some that was doing playing lessons on the course. Neither of them was any good so idk how either person could critique the other. They also hit 5 shots each from one spot, often going to grab their 15ft shot to run back and hit again. I kid you not, it took them an hour and a half to play 3 holes with no one in front of them. We ended up going around the two-some and were cruising until we caught a 6-some with 3 kids playing. How you could let a 6-some play when it’s this busy is beyond me. Neither the 6-some or the two-some let us through so we had to skip holes to go around them. Long story short, they need a marshal who will enforce the speed of play. It took us 3.5 hours to play 9 holes on the front and an hour to play 9 holes on the back.
