What people say about (Sycamore Hills Golf Club)

Don’t get me wrong, this is a very nice golf course to come to, but when you’re being disrespected by the workers that you’re not going fast enough with a party of three it doesn’t make the golfing fun. While waiting at a tee, we were stopped by two golfers, asking to go in front of us, which we replied “that is no problem”, a few minutes later a worker came over and asked for another pair of golfers to jump in front of us as if we were just supposed to say yes. His comment over the walkie talkie was that “the girls are new and slow…” 1. we are not “new” and 2. there are multiple carts waiting at each tee because they don’t space the tee times accordingly to the number of golfers per party. We waited our turn at each tee for the group of four without complaining and we’re just supposed to let everyone in front of us do better Sycamore golf course!

I haven’t been to many golf courses but this has to be the absolute worst one yet. My girlfriend and I decided to come here since cracklewood was full and first of all the price was ridiculous. For 9 holes for two people it was 68$ and a bucket of balls was 17$. Another thing was the state of the course, I understand recently it’s been raining a lot but half of the course was covered in mud, some holes were even cut short due to the conditions. Just last week I played at Belle River which isn’t known to be the nicest course like sycamore and for 18 holes there it was only 24$ and the course was in by far better condition. I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone and I wont be back.

They have 3 courses of at least 9 holes. This is nice because they can space out tee times well. Very nice staff. This was my first time at Sycamore Hills and I brought my nephew. Even though I booked our tee time online, I was told it would cost less because my nephew is a junior. Kind catch on their part. The course is as challenging as you want it to be due to multiple distances to start from. There are lots of streams to lose balls in, so that's either a fun challenge or annoying 😂. I recommend it.
