What people say about (Richmond Forest Golf Course)

Matthew DeVuyst

I really like this course. It has a great layout with some challenging holes. The price is a great value as well.

The website suggests this place is upscale. Contrary to that statement, the owner, as he called himself, drove onto the course in something that appeared to be a POS, doorless, paintless Geo Tracker. He was rude, argumentative, disrespectful and lacked basic customer service skills. We were a party of 5 that booked to play 9 holes. Our goal was to essentially hone our skills for the up coming season. It was not busy, early in the morning and early in the season. We suggested the party of 1 person behind us to play through, and would have done the same for any that would have shown up should our party be thought of as slowing the course. The owner was outraged and displayed unhinged behavior. We requested a reimbursement. He lost a chunk of money on a slow cold day any future revenue. We left and will not be back.

A long challenging course. Love playing it. The Pure Michigan wildlife is super fun to take in as well. Deer, geese, ducks, turtles, hawks, woodpeckers, loons, cranes, squirrels, rabbits, ground hogs, fish, all making the course a fun and scenic place to play.
