Beautiful course, greens were a little slow but you can tell they were taken good care of. However, we were profiled by our clothing, saying we “are the type to crash the carts”. On the contrary, Ally the beer cart girl, was very well spoken and had proper golf educate. Would visit again.
Well for starters we got there and a heavy set guy believe his name was Rick. Told us we were going off Res when we made a tee time for Blue. He then said “if you’re a good golfer then I’m a pro golfer” he was being dead serious. Once we start playing all of the cups we’re horrible and if your putt was online it would pop out if it was hit dead straight. The same guy who insulted me, was driving around the whole course staring at us while we played. It was every hole we would see him watching us. Finally we are starting to wrap it up on the last hole and mind you we paid for twilight, we had a play off hole the sun hadn’t even gone down yet. People were still in the club house drinking and getting served. He stopped us IN HIS CAR drove on the course to stop us and insult us again. He said you need to leave, we decided to do a chip off on the putting green and there he is IN HIS CAR coming around the corner to watch us and stop us. Finally we were bringing the carts in and all the workers just stared at us with mean looks. To say this course is nice is being generous and saying the staff is friendly is like saying this course is as good as TPC sawgrass. Crappy course and crappy staff. Wouldn’t play here for free ever again. You’d have to pay me to come out here. Used to be such a fun course and now it’s ruined by staff and managment.
I was at the golf course, playing a round with three friends today when we encountered an unexpected delay due to two groups in front of us and they had a golf league happening behind us. We did not mind at all until the rangers came up to us multiple times and talk to us and said we were the reason we were slowing everyone else down. Additionally, one of the rangers from the league questioned why the women(us) in our group were playing from the white tees instead of the ladies' tees, despite the fact that I can perfectly hit from the white tees. This seemed unfair and felt like a form of harassment. Even though we were waiting for a group in front of us. If the league organizers had better time management, it would have made for a more enjoyable experience for everyone on the course, allowing us to play without interruptions.
