What people say about (Giant Oak Golf Club)

Me and 2 of my friends were checking in for our tee time. My one friend asked if he were to bring his 5 year old son to golf how much would it cost. The pro shop employee said it would be $40! For a 5 year old? No other golf course has even charged him for his son! Some sort of fee would be acceptable but $40 is insane! When we made the turn we stopped and got drinks. One my friends ordered 3 beverages, the other ordered 2 and I ordered 1. The friend that ordered 2 asked for a bag of ice and was informed "you must order 3 drinks to get ice". Seriously? Our other friend did so why didn't we get a bag of ice on this hot day? Because the one that ordered 3 isn't the one that asked? That's not very good service The golf course itself was in pretty good condition but I don't think it's worth the price they're charging. We didn't feel very welcomed by the clubhouse/pro shop staff which is disappointing because we have come here a few times and had a good time. Not so sure we'll be coming back anytime soon after today

Nice golf club. Not a lot of trouble but some challenges with hazards on short par 3s. My group is all seniors, ages 69-75. We played white/gold tee combination. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is also a par 3 course available. We did not play it, but it was fairly busy.

Great place to play golf if you want a 6 hour round. 7-minutes between each tee time sounds like a great pace of play. Even better when they don’t own up to their wrongdoings. —————— Continued - didn’t even mentioned the presumably *scheduled* maintenance that was running the entire day until 4PM. Best part - you knew it was going to be busy yesterday and still slammed the tee sheet with 7 minutes between tee times. All i ask is for people to own up to their mistakes. Luckily, there are plenty of other courses in the area to play.
