What people say about (Pigeon Creek Golf Course)

James Kieling

Went to Pigeon Creek for the first time this past weekend. This is a beautiful course. The greens where hands down the best greens I have ever seen. Even the fairways were near perfection. Big shout out to the grounds crew there. You can see they all take a lot of pride and ownership in their work. We will definitely be back for anther round.

My experience at pigeon creek was exceptional! I started the day hitting on a range that had the best grass locally that I had ever seen. Next , headed out to the course and found the exact same. This course is VERY well taken care of from top to bottom. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are very well maintained. Pigeon creek is very affordable and the staff is so nice. The director of golf at pigeon creek(chase) cares about your experience and it shows!!! Will be back for sure!

Course was amazing and in great condition, cart girl and clubhouse employees were very very nice and helpful. My group was there for a bachelor party, and played in 3 separate groups all day. On hole 17, a ranger (apparently having a bad day or just not a pleasant person), decided to come up to our group that was watching us finish out hole 16. We decided to play hole 17-18 as an entire group of 9 people, which we understand is not allowed typically. Here is where my problem arises, I have been to hundreds of courses, and NOT A SINGLE EMPLOYEE HAS EVER TREATED ME LIKE THIS RANGER DID. This individual was using expletive language, was not nice at all, and was making false claims about the rest of our group. We did what he asked (split back up) , and he still felt it was necessary to interrupt our tee shots on 18, to lie about the group ahead of us, and tell us that the others in our group are not allowed back to the course. I let the ranger know that I am not interested in coming back to the course anyway, because of how he was acting and treating our group. Apparently “the owner” was the one that sent the ranger to harass us. Kind of inexcusable to not speak to people yourself if you have an issue with them. With that being said, it is sad that I don’t have any desire to come back after how we were treated. I have seen similar problems be handled with a lot more class and respect. I understand course rules, but all I expect is to be treated nicely and with respect, no need to cuss at grown men.
