⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pilgrim’s Run Golf Club – A Championship Experience Our Veteran Golfers Association (VGA) Michigan event at Pilgrim’s Run was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The course offers a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, surrounded by towering pines and natural beauty that makes every hole feel like your own private challenge. The layout is both fair and demanding—perfect for competitive golf—with fast, true greens, excellent course conditions, and a variety of shot-making opportunities. It’s easy to see why Pilgrim’s Run is one of the top public courses in Michigan. The staff was professional, helpful, and welcoming to our group of veterans and families. Their support made for a smooth, well-run tournament day despite less-than-perfect weather. We’re proud to return here for our 2025 Michigan State Championship—it’s the kind of course that rewards skill and inspires camaraderie. Highly recommended for golfers who appreciate championship-level play and a tranquil Northern Michigan vibe.

I could see why the stars are so high. The course is so beautiful that every hall exclaims. I went to about 20 golf courses nearby while traveling. This is definitely the number one place. In some places I've been to, balls often flew from the side hole. It can never happen here. This is because the gap between the hall and the hall was far and there were many trees. If you visit Dashiji Station, I will definitely go back.

Pilgrims Run is easily in the top five courses in Michigan that are "must plays". The course conditions are always kept well right down to the detail of edging the grass around the cart paths! Attention to detail is fantastic here! The course provides many challenges for every golfer depending on which tee box is played. Furthermore, the staff was beyond friendly, helpful, and pleasurable to deal with. What an amazing course. You will not be let down! Well worth the $$$$.
