Georgia Southern University Golf Course

Hrs states the course opens at 7am. That should mean available for use but it doesn’t apparently. I’ve been several times and the practice facilities aren’t available till around 8am. Most recently, I was kicked off the putting area for spraying. So much for getting out early beating the heat. Course itself is in good shape.

Played course on September 9th, 2023. What an outstanding course to play. The rates are surprising not as much as they could be. From the start, they had very friendly staff inside the pro shop. The course is in great condition from the tee boxes, fairways, and greens. The greens rolls fast and are consistent throughout the course. The bunkers could use some more sand. Great challenges on the greens and a lot of elevation 6 as well. The course makes you think and you can't over power it. The practice facilities are also up to Par. The pro shop sells hot dogs for only $2! Highly recommend this course to everyone. I'll be back for sure.

Course is in terrible shape. Everything is punched. Charged me a 17 yr old full price. $75 to walk 9 holes is absurd. And they don’t mention a word about the condition of the course. Feel like I’ve been robbed.
