2 stars is more like it but I'm pushing the 4 star agenda because I simply liked the layout. I liked the girls in the Clubhouse. I thought the food was good and reasonably priced. Me and my buddies played 27 holes here, and 1 day, we all kinda thought the greens were incredibly slow. But overall, like the course looks pretty clean. It is just really hairy everywhere, and I know they're trying to make it better, but just cut that stuff down and do anything you can to make the greens roll faster. The rates are pretty expensive. I paid $15 for my second 9 holes with my cart. And only $18 for my original 18. Due to Golf now I sank a 40 footer for a birdie, and at grayhawk, it probably would have been all the way to Medina.
Played with my daughter. Enough of a challenge for all. Rough is punishing, if you do not hit the fairway, as it should. Hard to find ball if sunk in. Good pace of play and fun time had by all.
This course is night and day from last year. The fairways are good. The greens are way better than last year. The rough is still a little rough but that's why they call it the rough. I attribute this more to the rainy weather and lack of help. They are hiring by the way if you are looking for work, a summer job, or nice retirement job. Overall you tell that the owners and management are making improvements and I look forward to seeing this course later in the year and next year. This is a great course to play for seniors and new golfers and a fun place to play as a more seasoned golfer. The clubhouse offers a variety of good food as well for the turn or after a round. I'm currently teaching my son how to golf so we will be back.
